1:
Game appears completely non-functional.
A: Verify that the game power switch located on the top left rear of the game ca bi net is tu rned on.
B: Verify that l . E . C . line cord con nector is fi rmly and correctly seated into l . E . C . power entry mod ule
of A C . power chassis. If not, then gently but firmly insert the l . E . C . power cable completely into
the mati ng receptacle of the A C . power chassis.
C: Check and verify A C . line fuse of AC. power chassis is not blown . If the fuse is blown , replace it
with an identical fuse of the proper voltage and cu rrent rating. Note that a spare fuse is provided
with the spare parts bag located in the cash box.
D: Check and verify that the correct A C . line voltage is present the outlet.
E : Ensu re that cabinet A C . cable 4-pin a n d 9-pin con nectors are firmly a n d correctly mated with the
correspon d i ng con nectors of the AC. power chassis.
2: Marquee lamp is non-functional.
A: Check and verify that the fl uorescent lamp is properly inserted into the lamp holders.
B: Check and verify that the lamp pins are making good contact with the mati ng pins of the lamp
holders.
C: Check and verify that the proper A C . voltage is present at the power con nector of the lamp
assembly. If no AC. power is present, then check the cabinet AC. wiring from the AC. power
chassis up to the fl uorescent lamp itself.
D: Check and verify that the starter and lamp are fu nctional by replacing them with known working
u n its.
E : Check a n d verify that the fl uorescent l a m p ballast is correct for t h e local A C . l i n e voltage and
frequency .
3 : Monitor appears non-functional.
A: Check and verify that the cabinet A C . line voltage cable is fi rmly and properly con nected to
mating A C . con nector on mon itor.
B : Check a n d verify that the cabinet video signal cable con nector i s fi rmly a n d properly con nected to
the mati ng video signal in put connector of the mon itor.
C : Check and verify that t h e mon itor remote adjustment board is properly i nstal led a n d con nected to
the mon itor chassis.
D:
Verify mon itor is operating correctly by replaci ng with a known good u n it.
4: Sound is non-functional.
A: Check and verify the cabinet wiring is correct. Ensure that the speakers are properly con nected
to the audio out wires from the JAM MA con nector. Refer to the cabinet wiring d iag ram for specific
wiring information.
