3. Pull the carton up and off the oven.
4. Cut the middle of the out erprotective plastic bag to remove the mounting plate.
5. Remove the screws from each end of the mounting plate. This plate will be used as
the rear wall template and for mounting. Reinstall the screws into the holes where
they were removed.
1. Find the studs,using one oft he following methods:
A. Stud find er–amagneticdevice which locatesnails.
B. Use ahammerto taplightly across the mounting surface to find asolid sound.
This willindicateastudlocation.
2. After locating the stud(s),find the centerby probing the wall with as mallnail to find the
edges of the stud.Then placea mark half way between the edges.
The center of any adjacent studs should be16 (40.6cm) or 24 (61cm) from this mark.
3. Draw aline down the center of the studs.
THEMICROWAVEMUST BE CONNECTED TO AT LEAST ONEWALL STUD.
