7. Press the Up or Down arrow keys to review the
System Info list of firmware versions contained in
your DVC4000-D.
8. When system information has been reviewed, press
the
ESC key repeatedly until the Main Screen is
displayed.
3.6.34 Perform System Reset
The procedure required to perform a DVC4000-D system reset,
in the event of a suspected system crash or lock-up, is contained
in the following steps.
1. Verify the DVC4000-D is powered up.
2. Verify the Main Screen ( Figure 3-246 ) is displayed. If
the Main Screen is not displayed, press the ESC key
repeatedly until the Main Screen is displayed.

3. Press the Down arrow key, as required, to move the
>> cursor to the System Menu option.
4. Press the SEL key or Right arrow key and observe the
System Menu is displayed. See Figure 3-247 .

5. Press the Up or Down arrow keys, as required, to
move the cursor to the
> System Reset option.
6. Press the SEL key or Right arrow key to select the
System Reset option and observe the DVC4000-D
powers down momentarily, and then re-boots.
7. After a short delay, observe the Main Screen is
displayed.
