Standby Time-out
The Standby Time-out selection sets the amount of time
that elapses for the system to enter Standby Mode.
Standby Mode turns off various devices in the system,
including the display screen, until you start using the
system again. The options are Off (default), 1 min., 2
min., 4 min., 6 min., 8 min., 12 min. or 16 min.
Auto Suspend Time-out
The Standby Time-out selection sets the amount of time
that elapses for the system to enter Suspend Mode. The
options are Off (default), 5 min., 10 min., 15 min., 20
min., 30 min., 40 min. or 60 min. Before making changes,
"Customized" must be selected in the Power Manage-
ment Mode selection.
Hard Disk Time-out
This selection sets the amount of time that elapses before
the hard disk enters spin-down mode to conserve power.
Before making changes, "Customized" must be selected
in the Power Management Mode selection. The options
are Disabled (default), 10 sec., 15 sec., 30 sec., 45 sec., 1
min., 2 min., 4 min., 6 min., 8 min., 10 min. and 15 min.
Resume On Modem Ring
When this feature is turned On, the system will wake up
from Suspend mode when an incoming call is detected on
your modem. Before making changes, “Customized” must
be selected in the Power Management Mode category.
The default setting is Off. NOTE: This option does not
require a special modem.
