MAINTENANCE
The following maintenance Instruc-
tions give you a guide for carrying out
the maintenance work.
Attention:
Maintenance work as well as refit-
ting and adjustments on the
SCOOTER
are only to be conduct-
ed with the
SCOOTER
switched off!
•
When working on the electrical
equipment the driving key is addi-
tionally to be pulled out! – Acci-
dent risk resulting from inadvert-
ent movement of the wheelchair!
Inspection
For safety reasons and to prevent ac-
cidents which can result from wear not
detected in good time, an annual in-
spection is necessary in the case of
normal operating conditions.
Have this work carried out by a spe-
cialist workshop in order to ensure
that the
SCOOTER
offers the highest
level of safety and reliability. The em-
ployee of the specialist workshop
knows the technique of the
SCOOTER
and has appropriate tools. They can
identify the start of wear in good time
and use only original spare parts.
☞
Note:
Shorter intervals for brakes and
chassis checks are recommended in
the case of severe operating condi-
tions, e.g. daily driving on uphill/
downhill gradients or use by a nurs-
ing service – with frequently chang-
ing users.
Insufficient or neglected care and
maintenance of the
SCOOTER
leads to
limitation of the manufacturers liabil-
ity.
Caution:
When participating in public traf-
fic the driver is responsible or the
functional- and operationally safe
condition of the
SCOOTER
.
