Renewing the bowden cable of the
drum brake
Disassembly of the bowden cable:
1. Remove the front tiller revetment.
2. Unhook the bowden cable (1) on the hand brake
lever (2).
3. Remove the cable binders (3) that hold the bow-
den cable.
4. Unhook the bowden cable at the brake shield
(5) and pull it upward out of the rubber buffer
(8).
Pre-assembly of the bowden cable:
1. Insert the bowden cable into the hand brake le-
ver (3).
Model 3.263 (3-wheel)
Model 2.663 (3-wheel) and
Model 2.563 (3-wheel):
2. Guide the bowden cable further down through
the sleeve (4).
3. Fasten the bowden cable with a cable binder
(3).

The bowden cable must lie freely and may not
be turned. – Danger of damages!
