Dosing Control
The DOS command is used to control Dosimats and Dosinos. Up to 12
Dosinos or Dosimats can be addressed via the External Bus control.
In addition to adding a certain volume, specific actions can be initiated.
fill
Filling the Dosimat or Dosino burette
release
Prepare Dosimat or Dosino for changing the exchange unit. Bu-
rette is filled via the rinsing port. The stop cock is turned to the
exchange position.
prep
Preparation cycle for Dosinos. All tubing is rinsed and filled
completely.
empty
Empty burette of the Dosino via dosing port.
In the Parameter Menu under “
>dosing unit def.
” the port assignments for
Dosinos can be defined as well as method-specific dosing and filling
speeds. This can also be done within a sequence with the corresponding
'DEF' command.

The changer recognizes automatically whether a Dosimat or a Dosino is
connected.

In a sequence the SCN:Rm command causes method processing to stop
until the predefined bit pattern is received.
Predefined bit patterns are supported which can be selected by short
names (for example: "Ready1" or "End1").
"Ready" signifies a static "Ready" line of an external Metrohm instrument.
“End" stands for pulse signals, for example EOD (=end of determination).
When scanning for pulse signals parallel scanning of several lines cannot
be applied.
