'EoD' (End of Determination) pulse at the remote link. The SCAN timeout de-
fines the maximum permitted duration of a determination in this case.
The timeout time starts directly on activation of the SCAN command. After the
timeout time has expired, an error message is displayed and the sequence of
the method is aborted (HOLD status) or the system continues with the next
command of the sequence, depending on the setting above.
