5.3.2.6 L2 Management

The L2 management menu is used to configure the L2 frame processing and control
protocol support

Refer to section 5.3.1.9 for a full description

5.3.2.7 Link Loss Forwarding

When equipment is connected together over a network with intermediate nodes, and fault
in the network may well not actually be seen by the end stations. Link loss forwarding is a
mechanism for propagating link faults towards an end station.

When link loss forwarding is enabled, if the selected port encounters a problem, eg Link
Down, then the port with LLF enabled will also enter the link down state.

5.3.2.8 Rate Limiting

This menu configures the priority based rate limiting. Please refer to section 5.3.1.11 for
configuration details.

5.3.2.9 Counters

The SFP provides counters to show the packets that pass over this port as shown below:
