5.3.1.9.1.2.1
Port Mode
The port determines whether the port will act as an access or a trunk port.
Access
Frames ingressing an access port will have an S-Tag pushed which will
use the defined ID and priority as determined by the priority source setting.
Frames may be tagged or untagged.
Trunk
All frames traversing a trunk port must be tagged with an S-Tag with an
Ethertype matching the defined value.
5.3.1.9.1.2.2
S-VLAN (Access Port)
The S-VLAN definition defines the ID to be used for tags pushed onto frames ingressing
an access port. This value also defines that frames ingressing a trunk port with this ID will
egress with the S-Tag popped from this port.
5.3.1.9.1.2.3
Priority Source (Access Port)
The priority source is used to determine the source of the priority value in the frames
egress tag. The options are as below:
Default
Use the default port priority for all frames ingressing this
port. This will overwrite any incoming tag PCP bits with
the default value.
C-Tag, Default
For incoming tagged frames, use the priority PCP bits
from the received tag, for untagged frames use the port
default priority.
