In Track Waypoint mode the control of the route and display of route data on your chart plotter does not automatically transfer
to the chart plotter at the requested helm. You must turn on the chart plotter at the newly active helm, input the waypoint or
waypoint route to be tracked, and re‑engage Track Waypoint.
Helm Transfer—Auxiliary Joystick Stations
Auxiliary Joystick Station Transfer
Some boats are designed to allow control of the vessel from more than one auxiliary joystick stations location. Auxiliary joystick
station transfer is a term used to describe the method of transferring control from any station to an auxiliary joystick station.
The auxiliary joystick station transfer function allows the boat operator to select an auxiliary joystick to control the vessel. While
the auxiliary joystick station is active, fault and alarm information will only be displayed at the last active helm station.
The key and E‑stop switches at all the stations continue to function.
To avoid damage, use extra care when attempting an auxiliary joystick station or helm station transfer while the vessel is close to
docks, piers, or other fixed items or when near other vessels.
Requesting Transfer to an Auxiliary Joystick Station
To request the transfer of vessel control from a helm station to an auxiliary joystick station:
1. At the auxiliary joystick station you are requesting be made active, press the "TRANSFER" button on the control pad one
time.
2. After the "TRANSFER" button is pressed, the transfer button light flashes and one beep will sound at the requesting auxiliary
joystick station and at the active station confirming the impending transfer.

sounds and the transfer button light turns off signaling the end of the transfer request.
3. With the "TRANSFER" button light on, press the "TRANSFER" button a second time to complete the auxiliary joystick station
transfer.
4. When the auxiliary joystick station transfer is complete, another beep sounds and the transfer button light turns stays on.
NOTE: If an auxiliary joystick station transfer is not completed in ten seconds the request is automatically cancelled and a
double beep sounds. Control will remain at the existing active helm. Press the "TRANSFER" button again to restart helm
transfer.
5. The auxiliary joystick station where the transfer request was initiated is now active and controls the vessel.
Requesting Transfer from an Auxiliary Joystick Station
You may transfer to another auxiliary joystick station at any time. This type of transfer works like a normal transfer.
You may also transfer from an auxiliary joystick station to any standard helm station as long as the helm meets all of the normal
transfer requirements.
