outlined in Step 1, lay the
bearers (

) onto a
firm and level surface (
free from
areas where standing water can
collect
) as shown in the
illustration and fix into place
using 70mm screws.

Step 2

Repeat
Step V1
to create the
second half of your base using
the remaining framing (
No’s V1
& V2
).
Once both sections are built
place the two halves together
and secure using 70mm screws,
ensuring to stagger the screws
to avoid colliding.
Then place against your
building making sure it is level
at either side and fix using
4x70mm screws screwing
through the bearers.
