Vehicles with a manual boot separator: to
open, push boot separator 2 by the handle
against the direction of the arrow to its upper
end position.

Vehicles with a manual boot separator: to
close, pull boot separator 2 by the handle
in the direction of the arrow until it rests on
the sides of the boot.

Vehicles with an automatic boot separa‐
tor: press button 1 .
Boot separator 2 opens or closes automati‐
cally.
% If there is a system failure, the automatic
boot separator can be closed manually.
Activating or deactivating AIRCAP
AIRCAP reduces the draught in the front and
rear compartments when you are driving with
the soft top open.
Particularly turbulent air can reduce the effect of
AIRCAP. This can arise when you are driving
behind another vehicle or if there is a crosswind,
for example.
AIRCAP consists of the following components:
R
a wind deflector above the windscreen
R
a draught stop behind both rear seat head
restraints
When AIRCAP is activated, the wind deflector
and the draught stop extend simultaneously.
AIRCAP can be activated or deactivated at
speeds of up to approximately 160 km/h.

WARNING Risk of becoming trapped
when retracting AIRCAP
It is possible for persons to become trapped
when retracting AIRCAP.

Make sure that persons do not hold
onto the upper frame of the windscreen
and do not touch the wind deflector or
the draught stop.
