Switch the ignition on.

Press the

button on the combination

switch.

The wiper arms will move into the original

position.

Maintenance display

The maintenance display is available only for

standard windscreen wipers.

Remove protective film

from the mainte‐

nance display on the tip of the newly fitted

wiper blades.

If the colour of the maintenance display changes

from black to yellow, the wiper blades should be

replaced.

The duration until the colour changes varies

depending on the usage conditions.

Replacing the windscreen wiper blades

(MAGIC VISION CONTROL)

Moving the wiper arms into the change posi‐

tion

Switch the ignition on, and switch it off again

immediately.

Within around 15 seconds, press button

on the combination switch for around 3

seconds (

→

page 134).

The wiper arms will move into the change

position.

Removing the wiper blades

To bring the wiper blade into position to

be removed: raise the wiper arm away from

the windscreen and hold it with one hand.

With the other hand, turn the wiper blade in

the direction of arrow

beyond the point of

resistance.

The wiper blade engages in the removal posi‐

tion with a click.
