Raising by the wheels (taking the Actros as an example)

Secure vehicle using wheel chocks to prevent it
from rolling.

Set the lift fork

to the track width of the vehi-
cle.

Raise the vehicle with the aid of inflatable jacks if
necessary.
Pay attention to tie rods, soundproofing panels
and the level control system on vehicles with full
air suspension.

Move the lift fork

under the vehicle and set to
the tire size of the vehicle.

Raise vehicle.
왘
Secure the vehicle with straps

on the wheels
and chains on the axles and transfer bar.

Make sure there is sufficient clearance between
the arm of the lift fork and the front trim, partic-
ularly when cornering and when starting to drive
up steep slopes.
