The LED daytime running lamps are integrated in the
headlamp cover.
The daytime running lamps are automatically switched
on or off in the "Auto" light switch position depending
on the ambient brightness. Either the daytime running
lamps or low beams are thus activated.
Furthermore, the G-Class features bi-xenon head-
lamps which illuminate the road safely.
The headlamp cleaning system is activated automati-
cally every 10th time the windshield is cleaned with
the low beams on.
The front fog lamps located in the front bumper
perform the cornering light function during cornering.
This is activated at a steering wheel angle of 19° or
when the turn signal indicator is set and switches off
automatically at a steering wheel position of less than
40°.
No front fog lamps are installed on the AMG version.
This means that there is also no cornering lights func-
tion.
