With the G 350 BLUETEC, Mercedes-Benz is able to
demonstrate that the G-Class is also state-of-the-art in
terms of its emissions.
With the help of selective catalytic reduction (SCR)
and the unique process of injecting the reaction agent
AdBlue
®
into the exhaust system, up to 90% of
nitrogen oxide emissions (NO
x
) can be reduced. This
allows the vehicle to fulfill the EURO5 emissions stan-
dard with ease.
The most important advantages of the BLUETEC tech-
nology in the G-Class are:
• Exemplary emission levels and low consumption
with excellent driving performance
• Modern SCR catalytic converter technology which
reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 90%
• External filling of the additive AdBlue
®
