MEP2L STATUS CHECK
Telephone line check
1. Connecting the MEP2L to the power supply and
telephone line
2. Enter the command *94# on the keyboard
3. If the line works, you will hear the phrase "Telephone
is correct",
4. If you hear the phrase "Telephone line failure", check
the connection and try again.
5. If the problem persists, contact your phone provider.
Checking the speaker
1. Connect the MEP2L to the power supply and the
alarm button
2. Press the alarm button for 3 seconds
3. Wait for the response from the alarm reception
centre
4. Listen to the operator receiving the call and check
the audio quality
5. If necessary, adjust the volume using the
programming command 71.
6. Key in *90# to acknowledge end of alarm
Checking the Microphone
1. Connect the MEP2L to the power supply and the
alarm button
2. Press the alarm button for 3 seconds
3. Wait for the response from the alarm reception
centre
4. Talk to the operator receiving the call and ask him to
confirm that the audio quality is correct
5. Key in *90# to confirm end of alarm.
