Faulty variator.
The variator receives voltage
(230 V), there is continuity
3-6 (S2 pump control board
OK) and voltage different to
0 in 9-10.
If these conditions are met but the
variator does not send 230 V to the
motor, the variator is faulty.
Replace the variator.
Faulty motor.
Separate the pump from
the motor and make it
turn. The motor must not
turn.
Check that the motor is receiving
voltage before doing so.
Replace the motor.
Faulty pump.
Separate the pump from
the motor. If the motor
turns, it is OK.
The pump is seized or jammed.
Replace the pump.
(*)
In units with 2 motors, if one of the 3 first causes is associated with the fact that the unit is not performing any
pumping operations, both motors will not work. However, all other causes can only be detected in its corresponding
motor.

Level sensor
The unit does not indicate the absence of adhesive
Causes
Checking
Comments
Actions
The lack of adhesive
warning is not
activated in the board
Check the parameter in
the setup menu.
If you do not know how to open
this menu, contact Meler's Service
Centre.
Change the parameter in
the menu.
Burnt adhesive on the
level sensor.
Check for continuity in pins
1-2 of connector CN1 of the
power board.
If the level sensor detects
adhesive, there is no continuity; if it
detects it, there is continuity.
Clean the burnt adhesive
off the sensor.
Dry air system
No dry air is fed to the tank
Causes
Checking
Comments
Actions
Absence of
pressurised air.
Check that air is being fed
to the installation.
Check for obstructions in the
pneumatic circuit.
Feed air
Faulty magnetic
sensor.
Check for continuity on
both sides of the sensor
(*)
( 1 ) .
If there is continuity with the tank lid
closed, the sensor is OK. The sensor
might have not been installed in the
correct position. Check its position.
Adjust the sensor
position. Replace the
magnetic sensor.
Faulty load solenoid
valve.
Check that the solenoid
valve (*)
( 2 )
receives 24
volts.
If the solenoid valve is receiving 24
volts but does not allow air to flow
through, it is faulty.
Replace the solenoid
valve
