Button Setting
Adjustment of the number of pulses per mains frequency period (pulse per
cycle)
Pressing this button repeatedly activates the available settings in succession.
The respective setting that is active is indicated by the LED that lights up
above the button. The following selection options are available:
Low
2 pulses in 20 ms
Moderate
8 pulses in 20 ms
High
20 pulses in 20 ms
Random
Changes every second between 0 and 50 pulses in 20 ms
Depending on the operating mode selected, proceed as following when making
measurements on the demonstrator box:

Procedure
The levels are coordinated for the acoustic measurement so that
the expected values are measured at a distance of around 50 cm
with the PD Scan and the flexible sensor, while the distance
should total approx. 5 m when the more sensitive parabolic
acoustic sensor is used.
When performing acoustic measurements with the demonstrator
box, the frequency has to be set to 40 kHz (see page 4747)!
