When the backrest is elevated, a simultaneous movement of it towards the headboard.
This movement (auto regression)
reduces the pressure on the patient's tissues in the
sacrum area, thus prevents the formation of pressure ulcers (bedsores). At maximum
angle, the lumbar area can extend 11 cm. Similarly, this can help prevent the patient
from sliding down while the bed is being placed.

Leg rest
The lower leg section supports the legs of the patient in various positions thanks to the
rastomat system. This section can be manually adjusted by means of a simple locking
device at each side of frame.
In order to release the rastomat, pull the leg section
upwards until reaching the desired position or the
maximum height, after which the rastomat will move
freely. Afterwards, lower the section carefully until the
restomat is locked on again.

Headboard and footboard
MAJESTIC II bed is equipped with ABS headboards and footboards. They are easily
detachable without tools, and have a system to block / unblock that avoids an
accidental extraction.
Before using the bed place both terminals into their places. If they have
significant damages, do not use the bed.
These procedures only must be accomplished by qualified staff. An
inadequate use of these elements could be a risk for the person that
manipulates it or people around them.
Only use original components. Medisa is not responsible of any harm
caused by use of non-original components or misuse of them
To adjust lower leg section holds both sides through the handles. If it is
held on other point, it will increase the risk of harm on operator, since
fingers could be trapped, cuts once the movement stops.
