Medisa will provide to the service personnel that require it, diagrams, and list of
components, descriptions, calibration instructions or other information that helps the

service personnel.
Before carrying any repair, always disconnect the bed from power supply,
as well as battery cable.
Maintenance and repairs only will be carried out only after the disinfection
of the bed.
Maintenance and repairs only will be carried out in beds without patients.
The patient must be changed to other bed before any procedure.
Once maintenance and / or repair procedures have ended, always check
that the bed works correctly and that it can be used without any risk for
patient or medical staff
When the motor is open, be sure that there is no contact with the power
supply during at least 20 minutes. After power supply and battery
disconnection. This is to allow progressive self-discharge of the condenser
that could pose a risk to people
b) Maintenance schedule
The bed requires very little maintenance. All moving parts for height adjustment,
motorized systems and handrails are lubricated at the factory.
It is recommended that the bed be subjected to a technical inspection (including visual
and functional inspection) at least once a year, and any damage discovered as a result
of this inspection (signs of wear, loose screws, breaks ...) will be eliminated immediately.
A technical check should also be carried out after long periods of non-use of the bed.
Due to the wear that cleaning and disinfection can cause in some components of the
bed, you should check once every three months, or before if necessary, the following
parts:
- The fixings and pins of the adjustment mechanisms (backrest plane, legs and feet);
clean and lubricate with silicone oil.
- The pistons of the engine; clean and lubricate with silicone oil.
