Place the smoke detector onto the mounting plate and turn it in an anticlock-
wise direction so that the retaining tabs click audibly into place.
8.4. Motion Sensor

Mount the bracket on the wall us-
ing screws and fix the motion sen-
sor in the bracket.
The bracket can be adjusted to change
the detection zone and the detection
angle.
It is recommended that you mount
the motion sensor 2.20 – 2.40 metres
above the ground.
In order to monitor a room, mount the
motion sensor as near to one corner of the room as possible, as illustrated above.

Ensure that the motion sensor is located within the reception range of the Smart
Home central unit. If the reception is not sufficient in the relevant position,
change the position of the Smart Home central unit or, if required, add a second
central unit to increase the range of the Smart Home network.

Avoid mounting the wireless motion sensor near to windows, air conditioning
units, radiators, fridges, ovens, direct sunlight and locations with rapid changes
in temperature or with a constant airflow.

If two motion sensors are monitoring the same detection zone, it can cause mal-
functions and false alarms. In this case, change the position of the motion sen-
sor.

The motion sensor reacts more to horizontal movements than vertical move-
ments.
8.5. Vibration Sensor

Place the vibration sensor in a location where it can be triggered by manipula-
tion or vibrations.

You can stick the sensor to a window so that if the window is broken the sensor
will fall and be triggered.
8.6. Weather sensor

Set up the weather station on an even surface indoors.
