6.7. Smart Plug
The Smart Home smart plug is operated from a mains socket and acts as a power
socket for devices that you want to switch on and off or record their electricity con-
sumption via the Smart Home app.
6.8. IP camera
The IP camera is designed for Wi-Fi controlled room monitoring and is set up via the
free Medion View Plus app.
The IP camera can be integrated into the Smart Home system.
7. Inserting/changing the batteries
WARNING!
Risk of explosion!
There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced in-
correctly.

Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent
type.
The components could be damaged by leaking batteries if they are not used for
long periods of time!

Remove the batteries from the components if they are not going to be used for
a long period.
7.1. Door/window contact
A 3.6 V type 1/2 AA/ER14250 battery is included in the
delivery for the transmitter.

If the battery is flat, replace it with a new battery of
the same type.

Insert a flat object into the recess on the battery
compartment cover and lift off the cover.

Remove the flat battery and insert the new bat-
tery in accordance with the correct polarity (see di-
agram).

Place the battery compartment cover back onto the sensor until it audibly clicks
into place.
