MD8000 Power Supply Module

This section covers the functionality and front panel displays for the MD8000 Chassis Power
Supplies. There are both AC and DC power supplies available. The requirement is based on
the chassis type.





DC Power Supply Physical Description



Summary

Either one or two power supply modules can be placed in an MD8000 chassis. Installing two
(2) power supplies will provide for a redundant power configuration.

Two power supply modules utilizing the same input power source will provide

power supply redundancy.

Two power supply modules utilizing separate input power sources and circuit

breakers will provide for both power supply and line redundancy.
