3.5 Daily Maintenance Reminder Screen
Daily Maintenance Reminder Screen
Description
This screen displays reminders to the Operator to perform
daily checks on:
• Inspect Electrical Components
• Inspect Hydraulic Components
• Inspect Mechanical Components
Operator should press the “OK” button upon completion of
vehicle inspection to continue to the Home Screen.
3.6 Refuse Loading Procedure
Loading a refuse container quickly with the arm assembly
involves minimum work on the part of the operator. See
Figure 33.
Be sure all non-operator personnel are at
least 20 feet (6 meters) away from all areas
of the Packer.
Serious personal injury or death may occur.
WARNING
1. Position the vehicle properly at the collection site, staying
close to the curb side to achieve a distance of 3-6 ft
(1-2 m).
2. Maximum efficiency can be obtained when the containers
are positioned 3-6 ft (1-2 m) from the truck and they are
spread in a line.
3. Extend the arm assembly to grab the container.
4.
Position the grabber fingers around the container.
NOTE
To improve the ability to select an individual
container, it may be necessary to partially
close the grabber fingers before extending
the arm assembly to the container.
