Operation
2.2.3 Manual Cycling of Packing Panel
Manual cycling of the packing functions is controlled by the
EXTEND/RETRACT button located on the cab control box.
With the tailgate closed, the packing panel can only travel to
the EXTEND position ( Figure 23, Item 1).
Conditions
• Tailgate closed LED light must be green
• Side door LED lights must be off
•
Engine speed must be below 1700 rpm
• Top door must be up (open)
• Grabber must not be in the STOWED position
• 2.2.3.1 Extend Packing Panel
Press the EXTEND switch to manually control the extend
movement of the packing panel. When the packing panel
reaches the EXTEND PROXIMITY switch, it will stop at the
EXTEND position. The red LED will be lighted when the
packing panel is extended.
• 2.2.3.2 Retract Packing Panel
Press the RETRACT switch to retract the packing panel. The
packing panel will retract to the HOME position ( Figure 23,
Item 2). The green LED will be lighted when the packing panel
is retracted in the HOME position.
