Operation
1.3.1 Joystick Control
The single-lever joystick ( Figure 14 ) controls the in-and-out
and up-and-down movement of the arm and the opening and
closing of the grabber fingers. The joystick can also control
the Auto Pack function if it is equipped with the optional AUTO
PACK button on the joystick.
The OPERATOR PRESENCE switch must be depressed to
allow any Arm functions with the joystick.
NOTE
Joystick functions are disabled if the
OPERATOR PRESENCE switch is pressed
and held for more than 60 seconds. Release
the switch and press it again to enable the
Arm functions.
The joystick is spring-loaded and will automatically return to
the middle (NEUTRAL) position when released.

6 Thumb Wheel
Rolling the wheel up will
open the grabber fingers.
Rolling the wheel down
will close the grabber
fingers. The farther you
move the wheel, the faster
the grabbers will open or
close. When released, the
wheel will go back to the
NEUTRAL position.

THUMB Switch -
BOTTOM
Activates the Auto Load
functions, if equipped.
Function is to raise and
dump the container. Use
the joystick to return
container to ground.
8 THUMB Switch - TOP
Activates the Auto Pack
functions, if equipped. Auto
Pack packs the refuse for 1
to 2 cycles, depending on
pack count programming.
