• Input the ambient temperature.
The temperature will be recorded in the units the device is
set to in the system menu.
• Input the pipe material.
• Tap
Enter>> .
• Input the pipe size and use the up/down arrows to select the appropriate
units.
• Tap Enter>> .
• Input the pipe wall thickness and use the up/down arrows to select
the appropriate units..
• Tap Enter>> .
• Use the up/down arrows to select the bead-up mode and input
values.
The bead-up mode can be entered by:
•
time (in minutes and seconds)
• displacement (in millimeters)
• bead size per spec (in millimeters) (can not be changed from standard)
IMPORTANT: Entering a value will override the fusion standard parameter
for time or displacement modes. Do not enter a value if you want to use the
bead-up from the fusion standard parameters.
