Connecting the Inputs
The following applies for all cinch inputs:
The white cinch socket of the mixing table is the input for the left channel.
The red cinch socket of the mixing table is the input for the right channel.
LINE1 (23) and LINE2 (25) input
There are two LINE inputs available. You can connect your tuner, CD player, MP3 player, etc. to these ste-
reo inputs.
The LINE inputs are not suited for record players!
PHONO1 (22) and PHONO2 (24) input
There are three PHONO inputs available. You can connect your record players to these stereo cinch inputs.
The PHONO inputs are designed for record players with a magnet system.
You may not connect any high-level sources like tuner, CD player or similar to these.
Ground screw clamp (31)
If your turntable features a ground cable, connect this to the ground clamp to avoid humming sounds.
Microphone input (16)
You can connect a low-impedance (600 Ohm) microphone to the microphone input. The microphone input
is equipped with a special socket to which you can connect a 6.3 mm asymmetric jack plug or an XLR plug.
Connecting the outputs
MASTER output (28)
Connect the MASTER output to a free chinch input of your amplifier (e.g. AUX). The MASTER output is in
stereo.
Connect the white cinch output socket of the mixing desk with the left amplifier input.
Connect the red cinch output socket of the mixing desk with the right amplifier input.
RECORDER output (27)
If you want to record the output signal of the mixing desk with a cassette deck, connect the recording input
of the cassette deck to the sockets RECORD (27) of the mixing desk.
Connect the white output socket of the mixing desk with the left recorder input.
Connect the red output socket of the mixing desk with the right recorder input.
BOOTH output (26)
You can use the BOOTH output for connecting a second amplifier in addition to the MASTER output of the
mixing desk.
Connect a free cinch input of your amplifier (e.g. AUX) to the stereo cinch output BOOTH (26).
Connect the white output socket of the mixing desk with the left amplifier input.
Connect the red output socket of the mixing desk with the right amplifier input.
Headphone socket (7)
Connect headphones with a 6.3 mm jack plug to the headphone socket. The headphones should have a
minimum impedance of at least 8 Ohm in order to avoid maladjustments.
Connecting the Power Supply
Ensure a correct protective ground connection. Do not use any extension cables with-
out protective ground (mortal danger).
The mixing desk and all connected devices must be turned off.
Power outlet
Plug the power plug of the mixing desk into a common 230V/50Hz power out-
let.
