sonore trop élevé ; cela est particulièrement valable lorsque vous utilisez un casque. Si le volume du son est trop élevé,
l'audition est endommagée.

8. Installing the device
Make sure when mounting on a desk with other equipment that there is suf
cient ventilation. Do not place the device on
a soft surface such as, for example, a carpet or a bed etc.
In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains. This can
prevent dissipation of heat from the device and can lead to overheating (
re hazard). To ensure adequate ventilation,
there must be 5 cm of free space around the plug-in power unit.
Do not drill any holes or screws into the product in order to attach the device somewhere as this may damage it and
impair its safety.
When setting up the device, make sure that it has a secure footing and is on a stable surface as people could be injured
if the mixer fell down.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched or damaged by any sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that no-one can trip over them or become entangled in them. Risk of injury!
When selecting a location to set up the mixer, make sure it will not be exposed to direct, intensive sunlight, vibration,
dust, heat, cold or humidity. No other appliances with strong electric or magnetic
elds, for example transformers,
engines, cordless telephones, radios or PCs may be located in the direct vicinity of the mixer as these could affect it.
The mixer is suitable for installation in a desk and as a table device. There are 4 mounting holes in the upper covering board for fastening when
mounting on a desk.
Make sure when mounting on a desk with other equipment that there is suf
cient ventilation. Do not drill any additional
holes or screw any additional screws into the housing to mount the device as this will damage the device. Make sure that
the device is set up on a secure and stable surface. In view of the variety of varnishes and polishes used for furniture, the
base of the device might leave visible marks on the furniture it is placed on as a result of a chemical reaction. Therefore
the device should not be placed on valuable furniture without suf
cient protection.
9. Connection
Prior to connection, disconnect the mixing table and all other devices to be connected to the mixing table from the mains (pull the power
plugs).
For connection to the cinch outputs and inputs, only use suitably screened cinch cables. Only use a suitable microphone cable for
connecting the microphone input. Using other cables may lead to disruptions. In order to avoid distortions or maladjustment that
may lead damages to the device, you may only connect the audio outputs of playback devices with cinch level to the cinch inputs,
respectively only the cinch inputs of an audio device to the cinch outputs of the mixing table. Please also observe the connection
values listed in the “Technical Data”.
9.1. Connecting the inputs
The following applies for all cinch inputs:
The white cinch jack of the mixer is the input for the left channel.
The red cinch jack of the mixer is the input for the right channel.
Inputs LINE1 (20) and LINE2 (17)
Two LINE inputs are available. You can connect your tuner, CD player, MP3 player etc. to these stereo cinch inputs.
No high-level sources such as tuners, CD players or similar may be connected to the PHONO inputs as this will overload the input.
Short-circuit plugs are inserted in the PHONO input jacks. Leave these plugs inserted when you are not using the PHONO input
concerned. The short-circuit plugs prevent buzzing occurring via the PHONO inputs.
Inputs PHONO1 (21) and PHONO2 (18)
Two PHONO inputs are available. You can connect your turntable to these stereo cinch inputs. The PHONO inputs are designed for turntables
with a magnet system.
Earth screw terminals (19)
If your turntable has its own earth (usually a thin, black cable with clamp-type socket), connect this to the earth terminals. This helps to avoid
buzzing.
