Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects filled with liquid on top of them (e. g. vases).
Never place small objects, e.g. coins, paper clips etc., on the device as these could fall into the device. This
would cause a serious danger of fire or electric shock. Should liquid penetrate the device nonetheless, cut off
the power supply to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and pull the mains plug out of the
mains socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to
a specialist workshop.
•
Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•
Ensure adequate ventilation of the device during operation. Never cover the device with magazines, curtains,
etc. Never place the device on a soft surface such as, for example, a carpet or a bed etc. This can prevent dis-
sipation of heat from the device and can lead to overheating.
•
Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations, excess humi-
dity, moisture, dust mass, easily flammable gases, vapours or solvents.
•
The product must not be subjected to strong mechanical stress.
•
Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles on the device.
•
Consult an expert when in doubt about the mode of operation, safety or connection of the device.
•
Only use the device in moderate climate and avoid tropical environments.
•
Never plug the mains plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a
warm environment. The resulting condensation could destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room tem-
perature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
•
You should also heed the additional safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.
•
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices connected to this device.
