Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised specialist.
17. Useful Notes on Handling CDs
•
Hold CDs at the edges only. This avoids fingerprints or dirt on the surface.
•
Only touch CDs with clean hands.
•
If one of your CDs is dirty, wipe it clean from the middle outwards using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never clean CDs
in a circular motion. Never use any solvents.
•
If you can not remove the dirt, please use a commercially available CD cleaning agent (do not use a cleaning
agent for records) and heed the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
•
Do not write on your CDs and do not stick any labels etc. onto them. Labels might come off inside the CD
player and damage it.
•
After playing your CDs, keep them in the provided CD cases.
•
When storing CDs, do not expose them to direct sunlight, heat or moisture.
