• To replace the d oors, follow the steps in Door and
Hinge Removal in reverse or d er.

Connectin g the Wate r Supply

basic p r ecautions, includin g the followin g :
• Rea d all instructions before installing ice maker.
• Do not attempt installation if instructions are not
un d erstoo d or if they are beyon d personal skill
level.
• Observe all local co d es an d or d inances.
• Do not service ice maker unless specifically
recommen d e d in Use & Care Gui d e or publishe d
user-repair instructions.
• Disconnect power to refrigerator before installing
ice maker.
• Water d amage d ue to an improper water
connection may cause mol d /mil d ew growth. Clean
up spills or leakage imme d iately!
WARNING

• Confirm water pressure to water valve is between
35 an d 100 poun d s per square inch, 20 poun d s
per square inch without filter.

Both re d uce water flow can become clogge d over
time, an d may cause leaks if repair is attempte d .
• Tighten nuts by han d to prevent cross threa d ing.
Finish tightening nuts with pliers an d wrenches.
Do not overtighten.
• Wait two to three hours before placing refrigerator
into final position to check an d correct any water
leaks. Recheck for leaks after 24 hours.
• Verify the copper tubing un d er the sleeve is
smooth an d free from d efects. Do not reuse an ol d
sleeve.
