Upholstery Nozzle
The upholstery nozzle (

) is suitable for
cleaning all kinds of upholstery (e. g.
sofas, car seats etc.).
Nozzle Holder
All three nozzles (with the exception of
the fl oor nozzle) can be plugged onto
the nozzle holder (

). It is clamped onto
the telescopic tube.
ASSEMBLY
Please Note!
■
Before you attach / detach any acces-
sories, ensure that the device is not
connected to the mains power.
There may be dirt residues in the
dust container or in the fi lters.
These residues can be attributed
to quality checks and do not con-
stitute a defect with the device.
Inserting / Detaching the Suction
Hose
• Plug the connection piece of the
suction hose (

) into the suction
intake opening (

) on the device and
turn it in a clockwise direction until it
engages.
• To detach the suction hose, twist the
connection piece anticlockwise and
pull it out.
Inserting / Detaching the Telescopic
Tube
• Plug the open end of the handle (

into the appropriate opening of the
telescopic tube (

) (

). Twist
the handle back and forth slightly as
you do this. Then check the connec-
tion to make sure there is a secure fi t.
• To detach the telescopic tube, pull it
away from the handle.
Adjusting the Length of the
Telescopic Tube
• Press the slider (

) on the telescopic
tube (

) and pull apart or push togeth-
er the two parts of the telescopic tube
to the length you want (

).
• Release the slider and move the
telescopic tube a little bit more until
it engages.
Attaching / Detaching Suction
Nozzles
• Plug the free end of the telescopic
tube (

) into one of the suction noz-
zles supplied. Twist the nozzle back
and forth slightly as you do this.
• For greater fl exibility, the suction
nozzles can also be plugged directly,
without the telescopic tube, onto the
suction hose (

).
• To detach a suction nozzle, pull it off.
Removing / Inserting the Dust
Container
Removing:
Press the release button (

of the dust container (

) and pull it out of
the device by the carrying handle (

).
Inserting:
1. Grip the dust container by the carry-
ing handle and fi rst insert the bottom
of the container (

) into the device.
2. Press the carrying handle against the
motor unit (

) until the dust container
audibly engages in the locking catch.
3. Lift up the device by the carrying
handle to check whether the dust
container is in the correct position.
