8.2
LIFTING AND HANDLING
The handling must be performed by qualified personnel, properly equipped with appropriate equipment to the weight and the
encumbrance of the unit, in compliance with safety regulations of accident preventing.
8.2.1
Indoor unit
x
The apparatus is supplied on wooden pallets protected by
carton packing box.
x
Do not place anything on the top of the carton box.
x
Insert the forks from the indicated side.
x
During the unloading of the unit, utmost care must be taken to
avoid abrupt or violent maneuvers in order to protect the
internal electronic components.
x
Use spacers to prevent damage to the unit.
x
During the unit’s
handling
, it’s forbidden to exceed the
maximum allowed inclination as indicated in the right figure.
It is recommended to unpack the unit only with equipment
positioned near the installation place, otherwise take special care
not to damage the unit when handling it.
Removal of the packing box:
x
Cut the strap fasteners.
x
Open the top part.
x
Remove the apparatus from the packing box.
x
Remove the clear pellicle that wraps the apparatus.
8.2.2
Outdoor unit
It is recommended to unpack the unit only with equipment
positioned near the installation place, otherwise take special care
not to damage the unit when handling it.
Removal of the packing box:
x
Cut the strap fasteners.
x
Remove the apparatus by lifting the packing upward.
x
Remove the corner pieces of polystyrene foam.
x
Remove the unit from the pallet by unscrewing the screws that
hold the feet to the pallet itself.
When unloading and installing the unit, it is highly recommended to
avoid any sudden move in order to protect the inner components.
The units can be lifted by means of a forklift or, in alternative, of
belts, being sure not to damage the lateral panels and the cover. It
is important to keep the unit horizontal during these operations.
