Result of Test

u

   At the end of the test the HPAT600 will display 

‘PASS’ or ‘FAIL’ to indicate the result of the test. The 
measurement result is also displayed.

u

   Test data can now be saved (SAVE) to memory 

if required. Refer to 2.14. (Saving Test Data to 
Memory)

3.10 Extension Lead Testing

Always refer to and perform 3.2 before

proceeding

To test extension leads the HPAT600 IEC Lead Test is 
used with connections as detailed below. Refer to 3.3 
(IEC Lead Test).

A Martindale EX332 IEC mains lead (or similar) is 
required to perform extension lead tests.

Test Connections

   Refer to the Extension Lead connection diagram 

below.

u

   Plug the extension lead plug into the HPAT600 front 

panel mains socket (1).

u

   Plug the EX332 IEC lead mains plug into the 

extension lead socket.

u

   Connect the other end of the EX332 IEC lead to the 

HPAT600 IEC input socket (3).
