When the Signer is in the Count UP mode, the system runs until all forms are signed and burst. When
the Signer is in the Count DOWN mode, both machines stop when the count on the signer is down to
zero. *The burster always counts up. To continue, separate the unsigned forms from the signed forms
and clear them out of the Signer. Use the JOG keys on the signer to expose the joining perforation.
On the Burster, press RUN to finish bursting the batch of signed forms.
X
If RUN on the Burster is pressed while the Signer is displaying any message other than
“HOLD”, the Burster will run by itself. If there is a loop of forms between the Signer and
Burster, the forms may be torn when the loop is taken up. When the Burster can no longer feed
forms, it will stop and display an error code.
7.2.3 Models 911/968 System, Stand Alone Operation
To operate either the Signer or the Burster independently, turn off the other machine or disconnect the
911/968 cable at either end.

message describing the error, such as “Invalid Executive Code”. To correct a procedural error, press
CE and try again. If the message is repeated, consult the OPERATION section to verify the procedure.
