Replacing Parts
Qualified Marport technicians can remove and replace the following parts if they are
damaged.
Setting Up the Housing
Modify the housing to identify the orientation of the beams, then install the sensor
bottle inside.
The housing is made of two identical parts. Each part has holes to identify the
orientation of the beams. On reception of a new housing, you need to punch additional
holes on the side with the 3 beams, then place the sensor inside with the correct
orientation.
Note: The housing is delivered with 4 soft shackles: dimensions 7-10x100x100
mm, resistance up to 1 ton (+/- 10% tolerance).
1. Punch new holes in one face of the housing to show the 3-beam orientation.
a. Punch two holes (12 mm diam.) on both
sides of the existing hole. The location
of the holes is marked inside the hous­
ing.
b. Punch one hole (10 mm diam.) in the
lower part of the housing. This is the lo­
cation of the screw holding the sensor
inside the housing.
