3. Secure the shoulder bolts.

a. Assemble the ring terminal assembly as shown
on the picture.
Note: The external tooth lock washer
( 1 ) must have teeth curled upward.
b. Fasten the screws and ring terminals with a
Philips screwdriver until external tooth lock
washer teeth are flattened. Hold still the out­
side of the shoulder bolts with circlip pliers
while tightening.
Note:
Torque each screw to 15 in-lbs /
2 N-m.
Note: Do not apply thread locker to
the shoulder bolt screws. This materi­
al is insulating and the shoulder bolts
will overheat.
c. Turn the end cap over and align the shoulder
bolt heads as shown.

White wire: water-switch
▪
Black wire: negative charge
▪
Red wire: positive charge
4. Check that the hardware operates correctly:

Turn the sensor on with the water-switch and check you can hear pings.
◦
Connect the sensor to a charger and check it is charging correctly.
