4. Positioning a patient weighing 225 kg up to 450 kg (500 lb - 1000 lb)
4.1 Approved accessories

The mounted accessories may not exceed the maximum permissible length specified in the sketch.
For further accessories, please refer to the accessories list, see Chapter VIII.

To extend the table top at the head end by 380 mm (15 in) , it is recommended to use the head plate adapter
1133.36A0 in conjunction with the head plate 1130.64xx.
•
The approved leg plates are: 1133.53xx abductable leg plate, max. length 670mm as well as the 1133.58xx
one-section leg plate.

4.2 Operating table locked (LOCK)
Danger of tipping the OR table over!
Risk of injury due to the operating table tipping over when deploying the operating table castors (UNLOCK).
The operating must always be locked (LOCK) for patient weights exceeding 225 kg.
Danger of injury!
Risk of injury due to the patient slipping off the table during unrestricted use of adjustment functions.
Therefore, restrict the adjustment functions as follows for patient weights exceeding 225 kg:
•
Longitudinal shift is not permissible
•
maximum Trendelenburg/reverse Trendelenburg position ± 10°
•
maximum lateral tilt ± 5°
•
maximum slope of the back plate ± 10°
•
maximum slope of the leg plate ± 10°
Although the operating table would be able to perform the adjustments, these restrictions should be ob-
served in the interest of patient safety.
