Wear protective gloves when changing indexable inserts.
Use a suitable hex-wrench to turn the
adjusting screw one half of a turn anti-
clockwise.

Two hex-wrenches must be used to
loosen the clamping jaws.
Use suitable hex-wrenches to turn the
threaded spindle anticlockwise.

Push the cassette together with the ad-
justing wedge radially in the direction
of the centre of the tool.

Remove the indexable insert from the
cassette.

Before inserting the turned or new
indexable insert, make certain the
insert seats and inserts are clean.
Removing the indexable insert
Insert the indexable insert with the new
cutting edge in the insert seat.
Turn the threaded spindle of the clamp-
ing jaw clockwise and while tightening
the insert press it lightly with your fin-
ger into the insert seat.
