equipment and braking system.
• Use only unleaded petrol and the lubricants foreseen by the
manufacturer. Avoid mixing different types of oil being not compatible.
• Do not ride keeping in your pocket sharpened or brittle objects.
• Do not keep in your hand your helmet nor put it on your arm when
riding (the same for the passenger).
• Never divert your attention or let anyone do it while riding.
• Do not eat, drink, smoke while riding.
• Do not tow or be towed by other vehicles.
• Do not stay seated on your scooter with the scooter on the stand.
• Do not start with the scooter on the stand.
• Do not take out the stand on slopes.
• Do not start the engine in closed or not sufficiently airy spaces.
• Do not ride on pavements, under arcades, on lawns of the city
parks, etc.
• Wheelies, weaving and waving are very dangerous for you
and for other people (…pass the word on…).
• Do not hang paper bags while riding, and be always sure that
the weight of the bag is suitable and the handles are strong.
• Do not load voluminous or heavy objects, if they have not been
tightly fixed to the vehicle.
• Do not carry any protruding objects or items which could cover
the lights or the indicators.
• Do not fit too many electrical instruments.
• It is absolutely forbidden to make any modifications aimed at
improving or altering the scooter performances, or changing its
original technical features.
• Do not carry passengers, if not previously informed and instructed
on the correct behaviour while riding.
• The rider shall always ride in harmony with the passenger.
• Do not exceed the allowable carrying capacity (see technical data).
1.2 IDENTIFICATION DATA
• The homologation and frame numbers (VIN) of the vehicle are
punched in the front of the vehicle. To look at them, open the
cover (A - Fig. 3).
• Engine identification data (MINARELLI model) are visible on the
left engine cover (B - Fig. 4).
• An anti-tampering control plate with any motorbike identification
data (see Fig. 5) is fitted on the scooter inside the helmet
compartment, as required by Directive 97/24/EC CHAP.7.
This plate must never be removed nor altered.
• In case you should change the helmet compartment, be sure
that it is fitted with the anti-tampering control plate.
• When ordering spare-parts, always indicate the vehicle
identification data.
Altering the identification data is punishable by law.
