ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
6.1 FRONT DOUBLE HEADLIGHT
Bulb replacement
• To reach the double headlight bulbs, loosen the 12 screws ref. A
fig. 30 (6 per side) to remove the front shield (B).
• Low beam bulb: turn the contact tang sideways and replace the
burnt-out bulb (Fig. 30) with an identical one (12V - 15W x 2).
• To reassemble the unit, perform the above-mentioned procedure
in reverse order.
Note: test the new bulb before reassembling the headlight unit.
U.S. VERSION
• The front headlight is automatically switched on when
you fit the ignition key, turn it clockwise to position
and start the engine.
6.2 LIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT
• Have the headlight beam periodically checked by a MALAGUTI
Vendor/Dealer.
• To adjust the headlight, screw the adjusting screw located on
the front fairing (V - Fig.30.1) to lift the luminous beam, unscrew to
lower the beam.
