Releasing the Seat Belt
To release the belt, press the buckle
release button and allow the belt to
r e t r a c t . I f t h e b e l t d o e s n o t r e t r a c t
smoothly, pull it out and check for kinks or
t w i s t s . T h e n m a k e s u r e i t r e m a i n s
untwisted as it retracts.
Seat Belt Warning Indicator
Driver
Once the ignition is turned ON, driver seat
belt reminder warning lamp will flash till
the driver seat belt is engaged.
Once the engine is turned ON, buzzer will
sound for 30 seconds if the driver seat
belt is not engaged.
Passenger
When the front passenger does not wear
seat belt, the seat belt warning indicator
glows on the central bezel switch bank.
WARNING
Do not use the seat belt in a twisted
condition as the full width of the belt
i s n o t a v a i l a b l e t o a b s o r b t h e
impact. Failure to comply can lead
to minor or major injury.
PRESS
WARNING
• After inserting the tab, make sure
that the tab and buckle are locked
and the belt is not twisted.
• Do not insert coins, clips, etc. in
the buckle as this may prevent the
tab and buckle from latching.
