Locking / Unlocking Individual
Doors from Inside
Doors can be locked / unlocked from
i n s i d e b y l o c k i n g / u n l o c k i n g t h e
respective door-lock knob.
Opening the Doors from Outside
Hold the door handle firmly and pull it to
unlock and swing the door to open.
Opening the Doors from Inside
Pull and hold the door-lock lever to open
the door.
Engine Immobilizer System
The engine immobilizer system is a theft
prevention system. When you insert the
k e y i n s i d e t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h , t h e
t r a n s p o n d e r c h i p i n t h e k e y ' s h e a d
transmits an electronic code to the
vehicle. The engine will start only when
t h e e l ec t r o ni c c od e in s i d e t h e c h i p
corresponds to the registered ID code for
the vehicle. The immobilizer system is
a u t o m a t i c a l l y s e t w h e n t h e k e y i s
removed from the ignition switch. The
indicator lamp will start flashing to show
the system is set. If any of the following
indicator conditions occur, contact your
Mahindra Authorised Dealer.
1. The indicator lamp remains ON
2. The indicator lamp does not flash
when the key is removed from the
ignition switch
3. The indicator lamp flashes inconsis-
tently
