Full Weight Calibration 

 

This unit was properly calibrated at the factory to match the load cells that were supplied with it.  
Rough handling of load cells and environmental conditions can affect loadcell accuracy.  A full 
weight calibration of the load cells is recommended periodically especially if totals are collected 
from the blender.  The full weight calibration must be performed immediately after a zero 
calibration.  Use the chart below for the calibration weight required for your model WSB blender.

Display will show the Zero Weight Calibration / Full 
Weight Calibration screen. This screen contains a DUMP 
button, ZERO button, FULL button, a dialog box and a 
display showing the current Weight.

To empty the Weigh Bin.  Weigh bin must be empty.

Wait while calibrating load cells. Do not touch weigh bin 
during calibration.  After zero calibration, has completed 
successfully continue below.

Display will show a keypad and the message:  Enter your 
known weight in GRAMS and then press ENTER. 
 

Place the known weight in the weigh bin (see chart above) and then properly re-install the weigh bin into the 
blender. Press CONTINUE to proceed.   Wait while the load cells calibrate. Do not touch the weigh bin during 
calibration.  After a full calibration has completed successfully, the display will then show the weight value of the 
calibration weight in the weigh bin.  This value should match your weight.  Remove the weight from weigh bin.  
The display should go back to displaying 0.0 g.  Actual displayed weights may be +/- a few grams.  If the 
displayed weight is more than +/- a few grams, repeat the zero and full calibrations.  Prior to a dispense, the 
loadcells are tared and an empty weigh bin does not require the display to show exactly 0.0 grams for an 
accurate weight reading. 
 
After a FULL weight calibration, if the display says BAD CELL, the controller is receiving a raw weight reading 
from the load cells outside of the expected range.  Verify the weigh bin is free to move and that the gram weigh 
entered is correct. Verify the correct model is selected.  BAD CELL may also indicate the load cells are bad.
