1 - 3 SAFETY PROTECTIONS
The power feeder is equipped with
special devices that make them safe
while being adjusted.
- A safety carter prevent any
accidental access to the mechanical
moving gears.
- An accurate design of the support
avoids the risk that the pieces might
come off even if thay have not been
perfectly tightened by the operator,
thus preventing the power feeder
coming off and falling onto the other
components.
On the model STEFF this risk
is prevented by the “ Elastic
Pin System ” .
If the support is mounted on a “ tipper
clamp ” (see Fig.2), the Elastic Pin
System , through the pin (13B)
(see Fig.1), prevents the verti-
cal column (11) from coming
off the base (12), even if the
handle has not been locked.
The tipper clamp is avaible as an
option (Cod. 22100151), is sold
separately and is not included in
this product.
This safety system also applies to the
horizontal column (10) (see Fig.1),
since the pin (13a) keeps the pipe
from not sliding out of the column
itself.
