Editing HTML in Dreamweaver

To check for balanced braces:

Place the insertion point in the nested code you want to check.

2

Choose Edit > Balance Braces.

The enclosing matching tags are highlighted in your code. Choosing Edit >
Balance Braces again will highlight the matching tags that enclosed the
previous selection.

Viewing script functions

You can view all of the JavaScript or VB Script functions in your code from the
Code Navigation pop-up menu in the toolbar (View > Toolbar).

To view the script functions:

Click the Code Navigation button in the toolbar.

If your code contains JavaScript or VB Script functions, they will appear in the
menu. To see the functions listed in alphabetical order, hold down Control
(Windows) or Option (Macintosh) while clicking the Code Navigation button.

To go to a function in your code:

Select a function from the Code Navigation pop-up menu. The function will be
highlighted in the Code view (or Code inspector).
