2. Remove secondary filter element (A) from the canister.
NOTE:
For filter specifications, refer to 6.1.5 Filter Part Numbers,
page 281 .
3. Insert new secondary filter element (A) into the canister,
seal first, and push it until the seal is seated inside the
canister.
4. Install the primary filter. For instructions, refer to Installing
Primary Engine Air Filter, page 343 .
6.10.3 Checking Wheel Drive Lubricant Level

Check the wheel drive lubricant level every 250 hours or annually.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator

10 Bolt
1. Park the windrower on level ground.
2. Position the windrower so that plugs (A) and (B) are
horizontally aligned with center (C) of the hub.
WARNING
Use caution when removing plug as there may be pressure in
the drive.
3. Remove plug (A) or (B). The lubricant should be visible
through the port or running out slightly. If lubricant needs
to be added, refer to
6.10.4 Adding Wheel Drive Lubricant

NOTE:
The type of lubricant used after the first lubricant change is
different from the factory supplied lubricant.
4. Reinstall the plugs and torque them to 24 Nm (216 lbf·in).
6.10.4 Adding Wheel Drive Lubricant

Wheel drive lubricant helps separate moving parts relative to one another to prevent wear and tear and friction.
NOTE:
Do NOT mix lubricants of different brands or characteristics.
NOTE:
For lubricant specifications, refer to 6.1.2 Lubricants, Fluids, and System Capacities, page 279 .
